About Us

The mission of Kearney Enterprises, LLC founded in 2016 and headquartered in Miramar Beach, Florida, is to provide a unique mobile patient health record solution. Kearney’s solution is consistent with global standards.

Kearney is deploying its system via mobile apps and physical cards.

A patient’s personal health information is stored fully encrypted in the cloud, enabling the patient and the patient’s local, emergency, or other provider complete access to health records and medication history anywhere in the world.

Differentiators

Interoperability

Using the FHIR language (accepted as standard in India, the United States and 26 other countries, Kearney’s system enables physicians and pharmacists anywhere in India (and the United States) to instantly read a patient’s information.

Privacy and Identity Protection

(1) Kearney’s system checks to see if a person seeking potential access has a legitimate Physician's ID or Pharmacist’s ID. If not, that person is blocked.

(2) Physicians cannot access financial information.

(3) Clerical staff cannot access confidential medical data.

Ease of use / improving Physician efficiency

Many physicians can confirm that they are frustrated because they may be addressing a patient’s needs, only to find out they need multiple clicks through a labyrinth of irrelevant pages, with frequent system crashes that force the physician to start all over again. With Kearney’s system, no item is more than two (2) clicks away, thereby increasing physician efficiency.

Cradle to Grave Data at the Physician’s fingertips

The physician can be linked to the latest CT scan, PET scan, Ultrasound and all previous items pertaining to the patient.

Compendia – Kearney system contains:

(1) Compendia of all WHO-recognized diseases and conditions;

(2) Compendia of all medications and treatments authorized in 28 countries using the FHIR language;

(3) Compendia of all physicians authorized in 28 countries using the FHIR language;

(4) Compendia of all hospitals and clinics authorized in 28 countries using the FHIR language;

History

An early version of the Kearney solution was successfully deployed in Buffalo, New York.

The Medication Management Research Network (MMRN) directed by Dr. Eugene Morse, PharmD, FCCP, BCPS, was established through a joint collaboration between the New York State Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences, and the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. The MMRN designed and conducted the Standards Administration Protocol (SAP 1) in collaboration with Dr. Kenneth Lill and his technical team. SAP 1 evaluated the dual smart card technology that creates a bridge between electronic medical records systems and electronic pharmacy systems.

The clinical site was the Evergreen Medical Group, which provides comprehensive medical services, specializing in chronic disease management for more than 700 patients. The Pharmacy at the Evergreen Clinic and the Evergreen Medical Group have been integrated through the use of a full service electronic medical record (EMR), allowing a seamless flow of prescription orders, increasing efficiency and quality of care provided.
